An app for performers

You can tell that a performing musician had a lot of input into this app. It has synthesized sounds, and theyre really nice sounds, customizable all sorts of ways. But MorphWiz is all about the interface, baby ... its like a magical little stringed instrument sitting there in your lap, really easy to pour your expressiveness through your finger tips into the iPad. I was a professional violinist before I went digital, and MorphWiz and GeoSynth, each in its own way, give me more of the tactile connection to the iPad than any other app. Its all about the experience of making the music and not letting anything else get in the way.

I was a little offput at first by the eye candy aspect of this app .. the swirly colors and animated effects ...but I went from ignoring them to really getting into them ... its another way of involving me at a visceral level in the musicifying thats going on between me and the instrument.
